1968 Rolex Submariner 5513 "Meters First" Caramel Patina
This one is for the patina lovers: a probably untouched Rolex Submariner 5513 "meters first" dial with awesome caramel patina and a crazy gunmetal fat font insert. Just how we like Vintage!
Serial: 23XXXXX (1968/69)
Case: Excellent vintage case with factory bevels still visible and very thick lugs. Showing wear from use - this watch was likely worn as a daily. The caseback is stamped IV.68.
Dial: Original "meters first" dial in very good condition with a gorgeous caramel patina. The tritium hands aged a few shades lighter. The original fat font insert faded to a crazy beautiful gunmetal/blueish hue and remains in a overall good condition with a small crack at the triangle.
