Exceptional rare and unpolished Cartier Santos Dumont Extra-Plate 96054 „Paris“ dial, executed in 18k yellow gold. Dating back to the 1980s, this ultra thin Santos Dumont is powered by the famous Frédéric Piguet caliber 21. It’s the large version featuring a 27×36mm case. This watch is not only perfectly proportined and wears super comfortable, but is also hard to find in this untouched condition. It comes on a genuine 18k gold Cartier deployant clasp with two straps: a used Cartier black leather strap as well as a like new handmade purple leather strap.
Case: Unpolished case with it’s factory chamfers well defined, showing moderate werar from use and some patina throughout. The 18k bezel remains in sharp, unpolished condition with normal wear.
Dial: Original white enamel “Paris” signed dial in great condition with some minor signs of aging such as fine spidering on the right corners of the dial. Only visible under magnifying glasses.
Bracelet: Like new handmade purple leather strap as well as a original Cartier black leather strap in used condition with it’s original Cartier 18k yellow gold deployant clasp.
Movement: The manual wind movement has been carfeully checked by our watchmaker, running strong.
