[ON HOLD] 1985 Rolex Datejust 16030 White "Buckley" Dial Fullset LC100
Very nice and sharp Rolex Datejust 16030 with white “buckley” dial, coming as Fullset from 1985 (originally sold in Germany). The watch was gifted to it’s first owner in 1985 by his employer, celebrating his 25 years anniversary working in the company. Therefore the caseback has been engraved with the name of the employee as well as the name of the company. Always fun to receive pieces which carry a story like this. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker recently.
Case: Excellent case with well defined chamfers and only moderate wear from use.
Dial: Original white “buckley” dial in great condition with most lume plots still intact. They aged to a beautiful yellowish hue. The original tritium hands are slighty darker but still matching nicely. The engine turned bezel remains very sharp with normal wear from use.
Bracelet: Original 62510H jubilee bracelet with 555 endlinks in good condition, showing some stretch. The bracelet fits up to a 18,5cm wrist easily. Clasp code: G.
Movement: The automatic movement has been recently serviced by our watchmaker, keeping accurate time.
Accessories: Original papers (dating back to January 1985), original outer and inner box, booklet.
