1980s Near NOS Cartier Santos Octagon 2965 18K "Deux Ors" + Cartier Service

Impressive mint and unpolished Cartier Santos Octagon 2965 18k "Deux Ors", dating back to the early 1980s. It's the super rare deux ors version, executed in yellow and white gold. The beloved Godron bracelet makes it even rarer - not to mention the nearly unworn condition. Only a handful pieces known in this configuration! It's the large version, featuring a 30mm octagonal shaped case. The watch comes directly from the family of the original owner who was a long-time employee at Cartier in Paris where it recently has been fully serviced. A true collectors gem!
Case: Razor sharp unpolished case with it's factory bevels clearly visible and only very light wear from handling - if any.
Dial: Original white roman "swiss made" dial in perfect condition. It has been replaced during the recent Service at Cartier. The 18k white gold bezel with it's correct brushed finish is in excellent unpolished condition, showing only light signs from use.
Bracelet: Original 18k Godron bracelet in perfect condition with some wear from handling, showing no stretch at all. It comes with 21 links in total, fitting up to a 18-18,5cm wrist.
Movement: Recently serviced at Cartier, running perfect.
Accessories: Cartier service receipt from october 2024, Cartier pouch.
